Thanks for the article. We have been giving a free package of Bona-X cleaner set with all the Laminate and Hardwood jobs that we install for years now. By giving it away, they know what to buy in the future and we save ourselves from getting phone calls regarding care and maintanance.

Never use Mop and Glow or Orange Glow on prefinished hardwood floors. Bruce's hardwood cleaner works good but Bona (swedish) product is the best thing on the market for hardwood flooring

I had a huge problem when I used Mop and Glo and Orange Glo on my new engineered hardwood floors. It made them look absolutely horrible! I thought my wife was going to kill me when she saw that sticky white residue on top of all our great floors.

I ended up finding this site:

<a href="http://www.savemyfloors.com" rel="nofollow">www.savemyfloors.com</a>

It was a lifesaver and the solution really worked. I can't believe Orange Glo and Mop and Glo are still in business!

This is one site that I feel like I'm getting cleaning information from a professional. Are the Bruce cleaners ok for pre-finished floors that are not manufactured by Bruce? Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the Brand of hardwood we have in the house but I do know that they are prefinished. Thanks!

Good job on the extensive list of cleaning questions! And with very good answers, too!

Here at Mirage, we get these kinds of questions all the time. People invest in a beautiful floor and want to keep that way a long time.

Again, very nice post.
