I think for me, and for a lot of other people, de-cluttering a space seems to have another important effect - de-cluttering of the mind. I find it near impossible to focus on anything when the room I'm in is cluttered. It sounds kind of weird, maybe. But, I really think the less is more approach is the way to peace of mind, too, to a certain extent of course. Thanks for the post! De-cluttering certainly is a great aesthetic choice. I think a home should be a peaceful environment so we can rest. Our home interior elements talk to our senses.
